Hi Folks,

SBA will have a GS-13 and GS-14 opening in their SBIR office in the SBA Office
of Investment and Innovation
<http://www.sba.gov/about-offices-content/1/2890> soon.

They could be interested in a lateral if the right person is identified.
Below are the two positions highlighted and below that the generic position
description from SBA. If interested or for more info, please contact
Nagesh Rao at SBA (cc’d). For a lateral, must be a current Fed.

Thanks

Matt

Dear SBIR/STTR PM Team,

We have a couple of position openings on our team that are available to
interested and qualified personnel.

Before we go hit the street with the job postings, we figured to check and
see if there might be interest within the SBIR/STTR ranks for folks looking
to do a lateral transfer to our team?

1. Technology Policy Analyst (GS-14). Selecting Official: Edsel Brown

a. Ron Cooper’s job…requires an expert who understands SBIR/STTR,
Bayh-Dole, and Stephenson-Wydler, IP-Law, etc…relevant legislation.

2. Program Analyst (GS-13). Selecting Official: John Williams

a. Nareg Sagherian’s job…bit more broad and open, but strong
familiarity with technology, innovation, and growth accelerator
programmatic efforts.

If you know someone at your agency who has civil service status and whom
might be interested and/or a good fit…have them reach out to John, Edsel,
and I with their resume and cover letter so that we can review and consider.
