*Postdoctoral Scholar*

Assists with the direction and implementation of survey projects and
program/project evaluations related to a variety of areas with a focus on
education, public health and natural resources;

Pursues individual research in survey methods or disciplinary scholarship;

Conducts applied and methodological research (quantitative, qualitative or
mixed-methods) in a highly collaborative setting;

Receives training and assists with grant and contract proposal writing for
federal, state and private funding opportunities;

Receives training in responsible conduct of research and AAPOR TI
requirements;

Attends Center for Social & Behavioral Research (CSBR) meetings and other
departmental colloquia and/or related events of interest;

Trains and supervises master-and undergraduate-level students.

Doctoral or equivalent degree in demography, political science, public
health, psychology, sociology or related field; demonstrated knowledge of
both quantitative survey science; experience with qualitative methods;
demonstrated knowledge of at least one statistical analysis package or
program (R, SAS, SPSS) required. Student experience will be considered.
Experience with program/project evaluation preferred.
