Reporting to the Director of the Bloustein Survey Research Center (BCSR) at
the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, the Senior
Research Specialist performs quantitative, qualitative, and mixed mode
research and data analysis. Is responsible for report and proposal writing.
Manages the execution of assigned research projects. May serve as Principal
Investigator (PI) or co-PI or may assist a PI to develop original research
plans, schedules, and protocols to ensure successful completion of assigned
projects. Develops and promotes research products and capabilities for the
organization, and reinforces existing client/sponsor relationships.
Implements appropriate research plans and methodologies while directly or
jointly managing project teams conducting the research. Writes technical
reports, journal article submissions, and prepares conference
presentations. Completes work independently with broadly defined work
objectives and limited review of overall results. Performs professional
work that requires specialized knowledge in the field of survey research
and public policy with a solid understanding, use, and application of
concepts, theories, principles, practices, terminology or survey research
in relation to a number of areas of policy and planning development. Apply
