A master's degree level job posting.

*Job Description:* We are looking for a full-time Project Manager for a
> multi-site RCT aimed at testing the effectiveness of Moral Reconation
> Therapy (MRT) with justice-involved Veterans. MRT is an evidence-based
> treatment for criminogenic thinking.  This project will test whether MRT is
> more effective than treatment-as-usual in reducing risk for criminal
> recidivism and other poor health outcomes among justice-involved Veterans
> in VA Domiciliaries.  Project sites include VA Palo Alto, Little Rock VA,
> Bedford VAMC, with the current position located at VA Palo Alto.  *Duties*:
> The incumbent will coordinate the efforts of a multi-disciplinary team.
> Specifically, s/he will facilitate the information flow to the PIs and
> Co-Is and collaborate to develop and execute project goals and management
> plans (i.e., for recruitment, intervention delivery, and data collection at
> baseline and follow-ups).  Along with the PIs, s/he will organize and
> co-lead bi-weekly phone conferences with project staff across all sites.
> S/he will meet weekly with the PIs to discuss progress on the specific
> project tasks.  S/he will be responsible for assisting with administrative
> project oversight (e.g., budget; personnel; purchasing), conducting
> literature searches; managing IRB/R&D reports; and assisting with the
> preparation of manuscripts and presentations.  At the Palo Alto site, s/he
> will help to prepare data collection protocols and materials during the
> project start-up period; recruit patients; conduct in-person clinical
> interviews with patients when they enter the study; track patients for
> follow-up phone interviews 6 and 12 months later; conduct qualitative
> interviews with patients and staff from the Domiciliary programs; check and
> code inventories and enter the data; and construct the project databases.
> *Requirements*: Excellent communication, organizational, and
> interpersonal skills will be necessary to facilitate the cooperation of a
> large project team.  A Master’s degree related to mental health services
> research and/or prior experience in project management, particularly the
> management of multisite RCTs, is preferred though not required.  Funds are
> available at the *GS 9 level* ($59,000 - $70,000, plus benefits) for 4
