"To lead the strategic direction and vision for Feeding America’s research,
in support of our ten year outcomes, on food insecurity, poverty, nutrition
and related social and public health policy matters, and the nature and
impact of the charitable feeding system’s response. To guide and support
the development of program evaluation capacity for both National programs
and other food bank network services. To foster the awareness of food
insecurity as an important national public health issue and to direct or
assist the National Office and the network in integrating nutrition and
community health into core feeding activities to ensure that the dual
challenges of food insecurity and nutrition in vulnerable populations are
included in the network’s response. Reporting to the Chief External Affairs
Officer, to serve as a core member of the departmental leadership team and
work closely with other leaders in the organization to help build long-term
capacity of Feeding America to achieve its mission. "
