*Research Associate position *
This is a full-time position in our Baltimore, Maryland office. Travel is
unlikely to be required.
*Description*
This position will assist in the creation of data reports, graphs and
output files
· Manipulate, consolidate and import/export data files utilizing
various software packages
· Reviewing raw statistical data
· Entering data into Excel and checking for accuracy
· Create and modify data reports, graphs and charts in Excel and
PowerPoint
· Reviewing and editing questionnaires and other documents
· Writing and editing internal and external documents
· Assisting in the development of client presentations
· Reviewing final presentation
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Managing the quantitative research part of multiple projects
simultaneously with strong organization skills
· Ensuring the department’s conformance to quality and deliverable
expectations in accordance to client and company requirements through
metrics reporting
· Evaluating workflow and systems to assist in optimizing quality
and efficiencies
· Represent department on cross-functional teams
· Interacting with research department in a team environment
Additionally, this position will support many aspects of survey
development, strategic fielding, data management and overall project
management for a variety of client projects.
· Coordinate with internal staff and vendors
· Work with staff and clients to finalize sampling plans
· Monitor quality control processes
* Requirements*
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences or a
relevant quantitative/technical field
· 2 - 4 years of market research or technical experience preferred
(or comparable education)
· Previous experience with quantitative survey research, data
analysis, and data visualization
· Sharp analytical skills and an attention to detail
· Excellent written/oral communication skills
· Pro-active & creative problem solving skills
· Ability to multitask and work independently
· Professional maturity; good organizational skills, and a desire
to join a fast-paced environment where your actions can have a direct
impact on our business
· High level of proficiency with MS Office programs including
Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Interest in higher education
· Strong interpersonal skills
Additional valuable skills include:
· Knowledge of on-line survey software
· Knowledge of SPSS and/or R
