*Position Description:*

Develop and implement study methodologies (including sampling strategy,
mode, sample size, and developing survey instrument) on behalf of
externally- and institutionally-funded grant and contract projects for
clients of the service center Social Science Research Unit (SSRU); prepare
grant and contract proposals for social science research for clients;
complete and submit Institutional Review Board protocols for projects. Lead
projects to ensure scientifically rigorous, efficient and timely
completion. Coordinate other Unit staff within project management to
complete projects and resolve project issues. Produce research reports
summarizing project findings or other deliverables as contracted.
Completion of special assignments.



*Minimum Qualifications: *

Master’s degree in a social science discipline, or related field.
Graduate-level experience with social science research methods, including
survey methodology.
Proficiency with a variety of applicable computer programs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including technical
writing.
Good problem solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills.
