Abt SRBI's Health Division currently has openings for an Analyst/Project
Manager and a Senior Project Director.  You will be able to work from any
of the following Abt SRBI offices: Silver Spring, MD; New York, NY;
Chicago, IL; or Cambridge, MA.

*Analyst/Project Manager*

*Responsibilities:*

·         Manage survey research projects under the supervision of senior
project staff

·         Develop and implement survey questionnaires in cooperation with a
variety of client organizations

·         Writing and proofreading study documentation and materials.

·         Work closely with programmers/samplers/interviewing staff to
trouble-shoot and resolve issues and questions utilizing good judgment and
knowledge of best practices

·         Coordinate, prepare and conduct  detailed training session and
reference documents

·         Review survey data results and ensure quality control of client
deliverables



*Qualifications:*

·         Bachelors degree and a minimum of 1 year survey research industry
experience or strong academic/internship experience in survey research or
equivalent combination of education and work experience

·         Detail orientated and able to multi-task

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills

·         Excellent written & verbal communications skills

·         Quantitative and logical thinking skills

·         Basic knowledge and understanding of statistics

·         Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·         Statistical software knowledge (e.g. SPSS or SAS) a plus



*Senior Analyst/Project Director*

*Responsibilities:*

·         Manage multiple, complex survey data collection projects
simultaneously with limited direction from senior management, which
includes oversight of the survey methodology and data collection process,
designing/modifying project plans, monitoring budgets, and managing
external/internal relationships and multi-functional project teams.

·         Ensure the quality and timeliness of work and the completion of
the project within budget with limited direction from senior staff.

·         Recognize and attend to specific client needs at all phases of
the project.

·         Serve as project advocate within Abt SRBI.

·         Communicate in a timely fashion with senior management regarding
status/problems associated with projects and propose solutions.

·         Promote business development by supporting the proposal process.
Proposal management tasks may include coordination of the technical aspects
and budget preparations, writing proposal sections, and participating in or
leading sales presentations.

·         Supervise and mentor junior staff.

·         Ability to travel for client meetings.



*Qualifications:*

·         Bachelors degree and 5+ years relevant experience successfully
managing multiple complex data collection projects or equivalent
combination of education and work experience

·         Experience working on proposals and excellent technical writing
skills

·         Advanced SPSS skills including writing syntax

·         Ability to troubleshoot data anomalies and issues

·         Ability to manipulate large data sets with accuracy and efficiency

·         Detail oriented and able to multi-task

·         Solid organizational and time management skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·         Proven expertise in using MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

·         Master’s degree in a social science field preferred
