The *Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative* (DSNI) is a nonprofit
community-based planning and organizing entity rooted in the Roxbury/North
Dorchester neighborhoods of Boston. DSNI's approach to neighborhood
revitalization is comprehensive including economic, human, physical, and
environmental growth. It was formed in 1984 when residents of the Dudley
Street area came together out of fear and anger to revive their
neighborhood that was devastated by arson, disinvestment, neglect and
redlining practices, and protect it from outside speculators.

As a member of the DSNI staff, the Director and Data and Evaluation will
direct, administer, and coordinate the strategic use of data for program
and funding investments, forging of partnerships, and evaluation necessary
to guide the development and expansion of successful DSNI planning,
coordinating and organizing efforts. This position is focused on evaluation
and research at a strategic management level. S/he will work with staff,
residents and Board members to unfold planning and organizing efforts to
realize the neighborhood's vision of a vibrant urban village. The position
will be a permanent senior staff team position at DSNI. The Director of
Data and Evaluation will work closely with other DSNI staff, Board,
resident leaders and partner organizations.

Salary for this position is $52,000 - $75,000 annually depending on
experience. Position is for immediate hire. DSNI offers a comprehensive
