 Hello all,



I would like to advise you that the Alcohol Research Group (ARG) located in
Emeryville, California, in association with the University of California,
Berkeley School of Public Health, is currently accepting applications for
two-year Postdoctoral and Predoctoral Fellowships.  Fellowships are
sponsored by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA)
for research training in the study of alcohol and drug use and problems,
and are oriented toward the pursuit of basic and applied social and
epidemiological research.  Although some of the research at our center
considers clinical issues, fellowships are not appropriate for persons
interested primarily in clinical practice.  *Our program focuses on
alcohol-related disparities, so we are particularly interested in
applicants with research interests in socially or economically
disadvantaged groups (e.g., racial/ethnic minorities, sexual minorities,
women, and those of low socioeconomic status).  *



We would very much appreciate it if you could *circulate the attached flyer*
to graduate students in your department as a whole.
