Dear Colleague,

The Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research is seeking a

*Scientific Coordinator / Wissenschaftliche/r Koordinator/in*

to support the directors in activities related to Population Europe. The
Scientific Coordinator will join the team of the Population Europe
Secretariat in Berlin, Germany. He or she will particularly be in charge
of coordinating activities related to the project “FamiliesAndSocieties
<http://www.population-europe.eu/Search/NewsDetail/4266/en>_. Changing
families and sustainable societies: Policy contexts and diversity over
the life course and across generations”_, funded by the 7^th Framework
Programme of the European Commission. Among other tasks, this includes
organising stakeholder seminars, writing comprehensive research
summaries and policy briefs, compiling a newsletter, and editing website
and social media content. The coordinator will also be in charge of
updating data in the Population and Policy Database
<http://www.demogr.mpg.de/cgi-bin/databases/PPD/index.pli>.
