The Department of Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Case
Western Reserve University invites applications for a tenure-track position
at the rank of assistant professor. We seek a candidate who can contribute
to undergraduate and graduate training in areas of social demography or
quantitative methods, and whose research and teaching interests complement
and extend one or more of our current departmental strengths in age/life
course, inequality and medical sociology/health.

Case Western Reserve University offers students the quality and class size
of a strong liberal arts college within one of the nation's major research
universities. The teaching load is 2/2; CWRU faculty members also have the
opportunity to teach in our university-wide undergraduate program of liberal
education, SAGES. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Sociology or related field
by the time of appointment. Review of applications will begin October 22,
