McGill University. Sociology. 
Applications are invited for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position,
commencing August 1, 2013. (While the appointment is expected to be at the
rank of Assistant Professor, appointment at the rank of Associate may be
possible under exceptional circumstances.)
We are looking to expand our strength in the area of Population Dynamics.
Within this substantive area, all research foci are of interest. However,
research on critical issues in developing countries such as fertility and
urbanization is particularly welcome. 
This position is part of an initiative in the Faculty of Arts to become a
major centre for research and teaching on population dynamics. Ability to
teach quantitative methods (including demographic methods) is expected. For
