Subject: position at PSU

Shelley:

I hope you are doing well and enjoying the beginning of Spring.

I also hope that you have already seen this announcement through some
channel. It is attached, and also linked from our home page at
http://www.pdx.edu/prc/.

If you know anybody with demographic and (ideally) GIS and personal
communication skills who might be looking for work, please pass it along to
them (or post it at Cal, if you get a chance). Unlike the last position
that we advertised and successfully filled, this is not a faculty teaching
position, so it does not require a Doctorate. Masters or even Bachelors
with some experience would be ideal. It involves applied work, mostly small
projects with local public agencies and non-profits. At least initially,
about half of the work might be with school districts.

This is a soft money 12 month renewable position, but we have consistently
had plenty of work, so if we find the right person who can deal with clients
and work somewhat independently it could be a pretty good job for them.

Thanks for your help.
