This job posting for a postdoc on the ecology of food perception sounds weird, 
but the project leaders are exciting internationally known interdisciplinary 
scholars, and the proposal for this project won an open national competition. I 
(Ron Lee) am involved in the project in a minor role. I accepted to be 
involved because I think Gro Amdam, one of the leaders, is terrific. She is a 
biologist working on honey bees. I know her through my work in  biodemography 
on life history evolution.
