Vacancy for External Research Studentship, CReAM (Centre for Research and Analyses of Migration),
University College London

CReAM has a Research Studentship available for a period of 3 - 5 months up until the end of december
2010. The studentship is funded by the Marie Curie Research Training Network TOM : Transnationality of
Migrants. The Network aims at facilitating training and mobility of young researchers in Europe. The
Studentship enables a Ph.D. student to carry out part of his / her Ph.D. research at CReAM in the
Department of Economics at University College London. Through interaction with academic staff and local
Ph.D. students this provides a stimulating research environment.    

To be eligible for funding, candidates should be studying for a Ph.D. and they must be in the first 4
years (full-time equivalent) of their research career since gaining a university diploma giving access
to doctoral studies. Candidates also should be non-UK nationals and NOT have legally resided or have
had their main activity in the UK for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the
starting date.
