FORS and the University of Lausanne are offering:

Two Postdoctoral Fellowships in the fields of comparative analysis of
longitudinal data and/or
survey methodology

The Swiss Foundation for Reseach in Social Sciences (FORS), as well as the
unit "Methodology,
Inequalities, Social Change (MISC)" of the Social Sciences Faculty of the
University of
Lausanne, are focusing on the production and analysis of important
longitudinal datasets like
the Swiss Household Panel and the Swiss part of cutting edge international
comparative surveys
like the ESS or ISSP. For more information visit our website:

Applicants are required to hold an academic degree in social sciences (Dr.,
Ph.D. or equivalent).
They are expected to have survey and/or methodology research experience and
a scientific
publication record in the field. Please enclose with your application
indications of your
preferred research topics and a proposal that describes your preliminary
work plan. A good
command of English (spoken and written) is essential in our multilingual
scientific setting.
Salary according to the regulations of the University of Lausanne. Beginning
of appointment
to be agreed upon.
