Survey Project Director
Location: Palo Alto, CA

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to join our Special
Projects team as a project director.   This team is responsible for all
academic and health outcomes studies at YouGovPolimetrix.

The survey project director's primary responsibilities are:
*Oversee survey research projects from start to finish
*Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
*Direct survey analysts on survey design, sampling, and deliverable production
*Communicate and advise clients on project progress.
*Creation of methodological reports for survey projects

This position requires an energetic individual with the ability to adapt to
a dynamic workplace and to manage many different projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

Candidates should have the following qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree (Master's or higher preferred) in a social science or
quantitative field
*Minimum 2-4 years experience in a survey research environment *Demonstrated
ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
consistently within a high-speed environment
*Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data and develop
recommendations
*Aptitude with statistical packages and data management tools (e.g. R, SAS,
SPSS, Stata)
*Prior experience or training in survey research and market research is
mandatory
*Experience with SQL desirable

The ideal candidate has performed quantitative research in either an
academic or professional environment.  Candidate should have a distinguished
academic record

The office is located within walking distance from the Palo Alto Caltrain
station.
