The Institute of International Education and The William and Flora Hewlett 
Foundation
are pleased to announce they are accepting applications for Dissertation 
Fellowships
in Population, Reproductive Health, and Economic Development. The two-year
fellowships of $20,000 per year are open to students enrolled in Ph.D. programs 
in
the United States, Canada, and sub-Saharan Africa. The goal of this fellowship
program is to produce sound evidence on the role of population and reproductive
health in economic development that could be incorporated into national and
international economic planning and decision-making.

Students in the United States and Canada are invited to submit applications by
February 26, 2010, and can view more information about the U.S. program by

Students in sub-Saharan Africa are invited to submit applications by March 5, 
2010,
and can view more information about the Africa program by clicking here.
