University of Arkansas: Assistant Professor

The University of Arkansas, a Tier 1, Land Grant institution valuing excellence in
research, teaching, and outreach, seeks a tenure-track assistant professor with
expertise in the area of family sciences. In particular, candidates with research
expertise in family demography, health, policy, personal or family economics or
closely related areas are especially encouraged to apply. This position has 60%
research responsibilities and 40% teaching responsibilities. Position
responsibilities include developing a strong research program including competing
for extra-mural funding. In addition, responsibilities include teaching no more than
9 semester credit hours in undergraduate and graduate courses, mentoring
undergraduate and graduate students, and providing service to the area, school,
university, and community
