[Brownbag] Opportunity to meet with brown bag speaker Sam Clark on Wed.

Dear Colleagues,

Sam Clark (Ohio State) will be giving a brown bag talk at Demography on
Wednesday, September 11th.  Professor Clark is an expert in health and
mortality in Africa, and in statistical methods.  His recent work has
focused on using innovative machine learning approaches to classify deaths
by cause in settings where death certificates are missing.

His talk, called "A General Mortality Model and Moving Verbal Autopsy from
Research to Routine Use" will take place from 12-1:15PM in the Department
of Demography on September 11th.

Professor Clark has some space in his schedule for meetings on 9/11.  If
