[Brownbag] Demography Job Talk Presentation, January 17: Juan Pedroza

The Department of Demography invites you to attend a job talk presentation 
by Juan Pedroza, a candidate in the current Demography assistant professor 
search.

At noon on Wednesday, January 17, Juan Pedroza (Department of Sociology, 
Stanford University) will present, "Deportation Discretion: Tiered 
Influence, Minority Threat, and ‘Secure Communities’ Deportations."

The presentation will take place in the Demography Seminar Room at 2232 
Piedmont Avenue. This presentation will run a bit longer than our usual 
Brown Bag presentations with the discussion extending to 1:30, but please 
feel free to depart early if necessary.
