of the semester. On Wednesday, November 28, Susan Carter (Economics, UC 
Riverside, Visiting Scholar, UC Berkeley) will present, "Embracing 
Isolation: Chinese American Geographic Redistribution during the Exclusion 
Era, 1882-1943."
