[Brownbag] Brown Bag Seminar April 18: Pre-PAA Student Presentations

Please join the Demography Department for a brown bag presentation on 
Wednesday, April 18. The following students will present their Population 
Association of America Conference papers:

Julia Goodman (Health Services and Policy Analysis, UC Berkeley), "Did 
California’s Paid Family Leave Law Affect Mothers’ Time Spent on Work and 
Childcare?"

Sarah Cowan (Sociology and Demography, UC Berkeley), "How Secret-Keeping 
Affects Perceived Network Segregation and Population Estimates."

Martin Kolk (Demography, UC Berkeley visiting student from Stockholm 
University) will present three posters.

The Demography Brown Bag Seminars take place usually on Wednesdays from 12:10 
to 1:00, in room 100 of the Demography building, 2232 Piedmont Ave. Please try 
to arrive before 12:10 so we can start promptly at the scheduled time. Regular 
and decaffeinated coffee will be available, as well as cookies and hot water
