[Brownbag] Brown Bag Seminar March 9: Pre-PAA Student Presentations

Please join us for a Demography Brown Bag Presentation on Wednesday, March 
9. Students will present the papers that they will be presenting at the 
Population Association of America Meeting at the end of March. The 
following students will present:

Maggie Frye (Sociology and Demography, UC Berkeley), "Sexual Relationship 
Scripts: Adapting a Card-Sort Technique for Use with a Semi-Literate 
Population in a Developing Country."

Kehinde Ajayi (Economics), "A Welfare Analysis of School Choice reforms in 
Ghana."

Sara Lopus (Demography, UC Berkeley), Poster Presentation: "Factors 
associated with varying old-age dependency ratios in Sub-Saharan Africa."

AND a SPECIAL presentation by Sarah Cowan (Sociology and Demography, UC 
Berkeley) via live video feed from New York (providing that all the 
various technological gadgets behave). Sarah will present, "Abortion 
Measures for the United States: An Application of an Old Technique Reveals 
New Findings."
